Jon Barney's passion for photography began when he had a manual 35mm film camera, the Pentax K-1000. Over the years he has travelled around the United States and world from his time in the Navy and for business and pleasure, with camera close at hand.

His photo business, Peanut Poppy, is named in honor of two nicknames of his daughters.

Over the last year, Jon has had an exhibit, Scenic America, in Westchester County, New York.
